How only Yezuvendra Chahal takes the wicket of Maxwell in this series?

Chahal has dismissed Maxwell in all the matches in this series and has finally revealed the secret behind picking up the massive hitting batsman on the field. Chahal has always managed to pick important wickets and managed to gain a good position in the team.

As Glenn Maxwell is widely known for his big knocks, it is evident that Chahal has played a great role in the series by picking up the batsman before even reaching the half century.

Chahal says “My plan to Maxwell is not to bowl at the stumps. That’s a wrong area. I tend to bowl outside the off-stump and I vary my pace. I know that if I can bowl 2-3 dot balls, he will step out and try to play an aggressive shot. However, in order to beat the batsman, the line and length has to be perfect.”

Chahal could not control his laughter after succeeding in picking up the wicket on the field and enjoying a combination of another spinner, Kuldeep Yadav.

Chahal Adds “Our spinners have taken 13 wickets as compared to the Australian spinners. We have used the conditions much better than them. That is our plus point. Adam Zampa is the only wrist spinner in the team and he is not featuring in the team consistently,”

Though David Warner was the main target for the spinners ever since the tournament has started, Yezuvendra Chahal has managed to perform consistantly  and maintained a good rapport with Glenn Maxwell on the field.
