India has managed to white-wash Australians in Tests and
almost managed in ODIs. It is time to move on and focus on the quicker format
of the cricket. BCCI has announced an attacking squad with an experienced Hunk,
who has the capabilities to turn the match around in a quick span of time.
Ashish Nehra has been an icon for almost 2 generations for his humble attitude and experience. Gaining an entry to the Indian Team is not as easy as Nehra’s initial days, but he has once again proved that talent and experience cannot be matched with anything else.
On this occasion,
Nehra says to PTI “Who isn’t happy if he is playing for India? I have never
been bothered by criticism. The Indian dressing room knows what I bring to the
table. The skipper knows it, the selectors know it. If I am in the team, definitely, I must be contributing
something,”

It is a known fact that Nehra ji played his debut match under the captaincy of Mohammad Azharuddin
(a long time ago, right?). Nehra has never looked back and played in the
national team under Azhar, Sourav Ganguly, Rahul Dravid, MS Dhoni, Virender
Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir and Virat Kohli.
